Affordable Crawlspace Care is a crawl space company with its main office in Midlothian. Its About page calls it a local USMC veteran owned, family operated small business. The services page says the company doesn't have 10 trucks or an office full of people, and that low overhead is how it keeps prices down. Virginia's contractor list first licensed AFFORDABLE CRAWLSPACE CARE LLC on September 29, 2023, as a Class A contractor with the Home Improvement (HIC) specialty.

The work starts with a free inspection. The homepage says the inspector looks for fungus growth and checks the insulation and the vapor barrier. The options page then lays out three common fixes. Full encapsulation swaps floor insulation for R-10 foam board on the walls, seals the vents, lays a 10 to 16 mil liner and adds a dehumidifier. A conditioned crawl space keeps R-19 in the floor joists with a liner and dehumidifier. A standard clean-up replaces the insulation and liner, and the page suggests it for homes headed to market.

Two details stand out. The site says fungus is scrubbed and wiped off the wood by hand: "We do not spray." It also builds custom insulated PVC crawl space doors on site. The services page is plain about limits: for major foundation cracks, the company says it will refer you to another firm.
